Secret Jewel Candles

Within each scented candle, a special piece of jewellery is waiting to be found. enjoy the sweetness and fragrance of your Soy Candle because it slowly reveals the treasure pouch. Extinguish the flame, remove the pouch carefully and unwrap to seek out your Secret Jewel candles. Continue to enjoy the aura of your candle for several more hours. The perfect gift for your wife or daughter this Christmas Season.

Secret and smells isn't the most recent jewelry candle on the market but it's one among the lesser known brands. We actually only acknowledged about them this last year! Anyways, the company was started in 2014 just as surprise candles were really taking off and they have been at it ever since.

The candles that come from Secret and Scents are eco-friendly soy candles that are made from soy beans grown within the US. They are also made using no crude oil by-products and no addition additives or coloring.

These candles are similar to most other jewelry candles out there but if you are new to these types of candles here’s how they work. You pick out a candle from a spread of scents and every candle contains a bit of jewellery wrapped in foil that you simply uncover because the wax in your candle melts away.

The jewelry that you find inside will range in value from $10 to $5000. You also have the choice to settle on which sort of jewellery you'd like hidden in your candle (rings in any size, necklace, or earrings).

This candle has a more complex scent and is infused with quite a few essential oils including: copaiba, balsam, grapefruit, lemon, orange, and lavandin. This candle has a base of vanilla which is what we picked up on the most but also has hints of sandalwood and lavender. It works as a great unisex scent.

Secret and smells candles do an excellent job within the fragrance intensity department.. well that's if you wish strong fragrances of course! On cold sniff you'll get an honest amount of scent from each candle, it doesn’t have tons of throw but it's pretty good.

When lit for a few hours, one among these 16 oz candles can scent a small-medium sized room. They work exceptionally well in a small room such as a bathroom, and multiple can be placed to help build fragrance in large rooms.

To put the fragrance intensity of those candles into perspective with other ring candles, it's an identical amount of throw to Fragrant Jewels candles, which I find to be only outdone in strength by brands like: Jewelry In Candles, Bling It Candles, and a few of the Jewelscent scents.

While we try not to base our reviews too much on jewelry quality, it is nice to see some of the lower valued jewelry have some style to it. Secret & Scents – from what we have seen – do a great job of this. They claim that all their jewelry is hand picked and if pieces aren’t up to par they don’t use them.

The minimum value for jewelry in these candles is $10 while the max is $5000. If you get lucky and find a piece that is valued above $150 it will have a sticker on it stating it’s actual value.

We received an exciting parcel today! Our variety of Secret Jewels Candles came in today. With 6 scents to chose from, you’re bound to find the proper scent that's perfect for yourself, or for the person receiving the candle. These candles are only $35 each, and have a jewelry piece within them valued between $10 and $200! Visit our store today to urge your own Secret Jewel Candles!

Trim Candle Wick

I waited for what seemed like ages for enough of the bath bomb to melt away into the water for my ring to pop up in it's tiny, clear, but fogged up, capsule. Trying to open the capsule seemed impossible. At first, I assumed it was because my hands were wet, obviously, they had been sitting in the bath the whole time. After drying them, it didn't make opening the tiny little capsule, fit for only the Hulk to open, any easier. One side was slightly open, but would close as soon as I made any movements to my hand, talk about annoying. Eventually, I had to get out of the bath, almost slipping and breaking my neck with wet feet on a tile floor, and found a pair of scissors to help me pry the stupid thing open.

I could tell immediately by the fact that the jewels could move and spin that I definitely did not have a $10,000 ring, but I didn't care; it was still cute! Will it turn my finger green if I wear it a lot? Probably, but oh well.

Next, I knew I had to check out how much this ring was worth. My guess, maybe like $10 - $40. It definitely wasn't some fancy ring you would give to your significant other on Valentine's Day and definitely wasn't something you'd propose to a girl with. So, I drained the bath, dried myself off, dressed, and headed for the computer. I went onto the Fragrant Jewels website and visited their "Appraise/Vault" section of the web site and typed in my code.

Keep trim candle wick trimmed to 1/8 inch in the least times. The wick should be trimmed every 4 hours of burn time. Simply extinguish the flame, let the candle come to temperature , and trim the wick to 1/8 of inch before relighting. Our Wick Trimmers make this task easy and creates a pleasant clean cut that properly maintains the wick.

Place rock bottom of the trimmer flush with the surface of the candle. Rock the trimmer back in order that the “elbow” now rests on the surface of the candle. Ensure that your trimmer is at a 45-degree angle to make sure the right wick length. This will prevent the wick from being cut too short or causing the candle to burn improperly.

Wick Dipper - Unrivaled Candles

At Hadwin House we are 100% hooked in to creating the right candle and are equally hooked in to candle care education. If you've purchased candles recently in our store, you'll have gotten a complimentary wick dipper because we are that dedicated to your best candle experience.

Who knew candles needed care? Years ago when I lived in Florida, and before I was a candle maker, I was introduced to candle care by another reputable candle line and was blown away at what I learned. Seeing as how we use the finest, cleanest ingredients we can to make a clean-burning and amazing candle, why not give a little care to the investment so you can enjoy it a little longer. Let me explain.

We recommend employing a wick dipper and trimmer and even offer a candle care duo on our site and in our store for max results. In-store we'll provide you with a wick dipper if you are doing not have one, however the candle care duo is well well worth the investment. The wick dipper may be a long stem with an angled end that permits you to dip the wick into the melt pool to extinguish the flame. Why would one do that???

The reason is 2-fold. For one, the flame is put out immediately and as opposed to blowing out or snuffing out, it fully extinguishes the flame which eliminates smoke and soot, and that icky smell afterward. Secondly, it re-coats your wick within the wax which can add hours to your candle. BE SURE TO STAND YOUR WICK BACK UPRIGHT. As you get to the bottom of the jar, dipping may present a challenge so don't force it or you may dislodge your wick; at that point I recommend just blowing it out.

If, by chance, your wick does move on you, simply replace it back to it's origin and allow it to re-solidify. (We have recently changed our adhesive method so all Hadwin House candles made after 12/15/2018 will not have that issue. ) Also, it's vital to trim your wick to 1/4 in before lighting. NEVER leave a candle unattended and avoid burning longer than 4 hours. (that goes for ANY candle company). I have added videos on social media about how to best care for your candles. So there you have it, that is why we use the wick dipper thingy and we love it. Once you start using it, you'll never want to blow out a candle again!

When you blow out a candle or use the lid to kick the bucket out doesn’t enhance the fragrance experience. After filling your room with beautiful fragrance, you finish the evening inevitably filling it with smoke.

My advice is to use the candle wick dipper to push the wick over and convey copy like this

Please confirm that the candle has been lit for long enough the primary time to pool the wax. Ideally a good couple of hours. The candle will then burn down the side of the glass consumption all the wax. Finishing with a clean glass. If you would like to learn to make your own candles click here

I also offer a refill service if you would like to drop your candles off for a refill usually on ‘fill it up Friday’ – a standard refill of a 220g candle is £9
