Our testing notes should never take the place of your own personal testing. Always test fragrance altogether applications. We don't take responsibility for our test results differing from your test results. Natures Garden isn't liable for any finished products made with our raw ingredients. Cold process soap testing was done by our staff using strict controls. Stick blenders can help to include fragrance back to the grape scented candle within the event that it rices during the blending process. Soaping at temperature can help to scale back the likelihood of accelerated trace. Fragrances containing vanilla ingredients may discolor soap.
We knew this journey wasn’t getting to be easy. This new set of CandleScience standards presented many challenges and required closer working relationships with perfumers and chemists. It also required us to actually know our stuff!
It was tough going initially . We tested around 600 fragrance revisions in total. But slowly, steadily...we discovered fragrances we loved that met our new criteria. We encountered less skepticism about our safety standards because the fragrance houses began to ascertain for themselves the standard and wonder of the fragrances we’ve been ready to create.
There’s another piece of fragrance revisions we haven’t touched on here yet. These new scents we develop even have to perform and smell amazing! this is often one among the foremost difficult parts of the whole process; a number of the ingredients being removed are the ingredients that allow these fragrances to perform so well. With a number of our scents, like “classics” and flagship fragrances, the Revised Version must be exact. (Or, as on the brink of the first as possible.) With others, we took the chance to update the character also .
Tastes change over time, and like fashion, fragrance preferences modernize. a touch Black Dress was a wardrobe staple 50 years ago and it’s a wardrobe staple today; but the cut, the fabrics, and therefore the draping evolve.
Revisions also are an opportunity for us to place into practice everything we’ve learned about fragrance and the way it performs in soy wax. After all, the cold throw is what sells a grape scented candle, and therefore the hot throw is what turns a replacement customer into a repeat customer. The result? Scents that are strong, modern, and clean.
Our standards are rigorous, and that they exclude many materials that are ubiquitous in other suppliers’ fragrance oils. you'll already be conversant in our exclusion of phthalates, but we also exclude materials with similar health concerns, including those on California’s Prop 65 list. Materials known to be carcinogens in California aren’t any safer elsewhere! And if you’re a business outside of CA but selling handmade products online, your products will likely be bought within the state. With CandleScience Clean Scents, you don’t got to worry about Prop 65 labeling. More importantly, you don’t got to worry if these fragrances are safe for your home.
